Intro to Pole
A class for EVERY woman! Learn transitions, floor work and gentle strengthening techniques to prepare for pole tricks! We will explore choreography and build a routine with minimal aerial work. The perfect class for beginners and those who need to build core and upper body strength! Commit to only 4 CONSECUTIVE lessons at a discounted rate and unleash your inner goddess! Max of 14 students/class (2 people/pole).
A class for students who have completed 4 consecutive intro classes that will focus on deep core and shoulder conditioning, arm strength and flexibility. Intro to basic climbing, inversion techniques and progressive twirls will be addressed. This class may need to be repeated before moving to Trick 1. Must commit to 4 CONSECUTIVE lessons. Max of 7 student/class.
Aerial Hoop & Silks
Trick and Spin 1:
Learn basic climbs, poses, and inversion preparation. We will be focusing heavily on abdominal and upper body conditioning. All dancers MUST complete this level. Trickster 2 by instructor approval only.
Trick and Spin 2:
We are airborne! Time to learn basic inversions and more difficult climbs. We will introduce laybacks. Tricks to master: full basic climb, basic invert, superman prep, cross knee release. Trickster 3 by instructor approval only.
Trick and Spin 3:
You're on your way to becoming an intermediate trickster and your arms and core are solid! Tricks to master: side climb, inverted crucifix, wrist seat, cross ankle release, straddle prep. Trickster 4 by instructor approval only.
Trick and Spin 4:
Preparation for the serious pole dancer! Time to challenge inversions, work on smooth transitions and build stamina in aerial routines. Tricks to master: Straddle from the floor, inside and outside knee hooks, handstands, basic aerial superman, apprentice, shoulder mount prep. Power Pole by instructor approval only. This level may need to be repeated to build the strength and coordination needed in Power Pole.
Power Pole:A 2 hour advanced class. Aerial inversions and transitions will be introduced and worked on throughout this class. Emphasis on core conditioning, flexibility and advanced choreography on both static and spinning poles. By instructor approval only.
